Sevesind to attend medical conference in Mass.
Columbia Falls freshman Graceanne Sevesind has been selected to be a delegate to the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Lowell, Massachusetts this June.
The Congress is an honors program for high school students who want to become doctors or go into the medical field. The event honors and encourages students who want to go into the medical field.
Sevensind was nominated by Dr. Robert Darling, the medical director of the National Academy of Future Physicians, based on her academic achievement, leadership and determination.
Students from across the country will attend the conference, listening to Nobel Laureates and medical experts talk about medical research and the medical field. The students will also get advice on what to expect when they’re at medical school.
Sevesind will attend the conference June 25-27.
