The Glacier Twins A were unbeatable last Wednesday, defeating the Kootenai Rangers 25-0 in the first game, with Matt Morrison and Tyler Murphy both nabbing singles in a nine-run second inning. Murphy drove in three runs total in the game.

For the second game, five runs in the fifth inning led the Twins to another victory against the Rangers. Murphy doubled again for another strong game, which the Twins won 8-2.

In their Saturday doubleheader, the Twins dismantled the Cranbrook Bandits with double-digit run totals in each game. Winning the first game 11-1, the Twins scored five runs each in the fifth and six innings. Greyson Bistodeau scored two runs.

During the second game, the Twins nabbed nine runs in the first two innings. Murphy pulled away with two runs.

On Sunday afternoon, Murphy pitched a no-hitter and struck out nine against the Mission Valley Mariners. Four walks and an error kept him from a perfect game. The Twins kept the ball rolling for a two-game sweep, beating the Mariners 4-0 and 9-1. In the second game, Terek Bistodeau only allowed one hit and one walk, striking out eight to nearly match Murphy’s performance.

Glacier has won 10 in a row.

The Twins will try to keep it up this weekend during the Ed Gallo Tournament.
