A great lineup of events for Heritage Days
Heritage Days 2017 promises to be a great time, with several class reunions, concerts, the annual Wildcats Athletic Endowment Auction, a car show, parade, rodeo and much more.
This year, vendors will be on the grounds of the Whitefish Credit Union Park on Nucleus Avenue.
Wednesday, July 26
5-9 p.m. Eighth Annual Car Show at Marantette Park
4-7 p.m. American Legion Freedom Post 72 prepares food for car show
7 p.m. Plaque presented at Veterans Memorial Wall
Thursday, July 27
Free swimming in the city pool (6:30-7:45 p.m., adults and kids 10 and younger; 8:45-10 p.m., adults and kids 11 or older)
7:30 p.m. Lion’s Club Concert at Marantette Park
Friday, July 28
Wildcat Athletic Endowment fundraiser auction, silent auction, and barbecue at The Coop
5:30-7:30 p.m. Barbecue and social hour, $10 per plate
5:30-8:30 p.m. Silent auction
6:30-8:30 p.m. Live auction
8:30-11 p.m. Cash bar and dancing with Music on the Move
7 p.m. Open rodeo at the Blue Moon Arena
Saturday, July 29
7 a.m. Firemen’s breakfast at Don Anderson Fire Hall on First Avenue West
7:30 a.m. Heritage Days 3-on-3 basketball tournament check-in
8 a.m. Boogie to the Bank 5K and 10K runs or 5K walk, down North Fork Road to Nucleus Avenue
9 a.m. JIM Rat Race, ages 4-13
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Arts, crafts and food vendors at Marantette Park
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. North Valley Senior Center fundraiser luncheon
11 a.m. to 12 p.m. North Valley High Steppers
Noon- Heritage Days parade on Nucleus Avenue (participant staging begins at the north end at 11 a.m.)
1-4 p.m. Family Fun Day in Glacier Bank parking lot
1:30 p.m. Freedom Bank’s Wild Horse Drive
7 p.m. Open rodeo at the Blue Moon Arena
7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Barn dance at Marantette Park
Sunday – July 30
9 a.m. Seventeenth annual Wildcat Athletic Endowment golf tourney at Glacier View Golf Course in West Glacier (Six person scramble for all skill levels)
