In a Wednesday doubleheader against the Missoula Mavericks A, the Glacier Twins A snagged an easy 10-3 win in Game 1 and squeaked by in the nightcap with a final score of 13-12.

They followed the same formula for two wins on Friday in Libby, easing by the Loggers A 9-4 in the opener and taking the second game in a 6-5 win.

In game one, Greyson Bistodeau led the offense with five hits, two runs, and two RBIs. Tyler Murphy chipped in with three hits, two runs, and two RBIs. Skyler Warner struck out five to hold back the Loggers.

In the second game, Glacier took a 3-0 lead but the Loggers grabbed four runs in the second and third innings. With another run for each team in the fifth inning, Bistodeau drove his second two-bagger of the game to nab the victory for Glacier.

On Saturday, the Twins trounced the Kalispell Lakers A in a 10-0 shutout at Griffin Field. Glacier broke a scoreless tie with six runs in the fifth inning and four more in the seventh. Greyson Bistodeau had four hits, two runs, and another two from his leadoff spot. Terek Bistodeau got a pair of hits and two RBIs.

On Sunday against the Lakers, Glacier had a big inning at the bottom of the first with five runs, holding the Lakers to two runs for a 14-2 Twins win. Matt Morrison was 1 for 3 and had two RBIs. Nathan Hader was 3 for 4 and hit the game’s only double.

Glacier will play in the District Tournament, beginning Thursday in Whitefish.
