Shannon Ostrom
Not doing a regular column this week. My family will be holding a memorial service with family and friends for son Shannon on Thursday, July 6 at 3 p.m. in the Buffalo Funeral Home, followed by a dessert reception.
A full obit ran in the daily paper last week, but here’s a brief part:
Shannon is survived by his parents, Iris and George, plus his sister Heidi Duncan, sister Wendy Price, and brother Clark, who all live in the Flathead with their spouses Scot, Shawn, and Shauna. He also leaves a loving group of close nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and innumerable friends.
The Ostrom clan says, “From the bottom of our hearts, we want to give thanks to all those who have been so thoughtful in offering help, sympathy, and understanding in these tough days.”
It is easy to say thanks but impossible to express how much it truly means.
Your Hungry Horse News columnist of over five decades is blessed with a loving, devoted family who have survived personal tragedies in the past.
We are thankful for the 58 years we did share during Shannon’s remarkable life and career.
Life goes on. Life is good.
