Swimmers do well at Cat-Dog meet

The Columbia Falls boys took second and the girls took fourth at the Cat-Dog Swim meet in Whitefish Saturday at the Wave.

As a team, the boys won the 200 medley relay in 2:01.70; the 200 freestyle relay in 1:44.85; and the 400 freestyle relay in 4:00.83. Sage Wanner won the 200 freestyle in 2:16.19. Zayne Friar won the 100 butterfly in 1:01.33. Colton Babcock won the 100 freestyle in 48.04 and the 100 backstroke in 56.57. Riker Foster won the 100 breaststroke in 1:19.61.

The girls didn’t have any individual winners, but got solid performances out of Maddy Stoddard, Shai Moultray, Hannah Callendar, Kailey Schrader and Jayna Moultray.

The team travels to Missoula on Saturday.
