Babcock wins a pair at Kalispell

Colton Babcock continued his winning ways for the Columbia Falls swim team in Kalispell Saturday. Babcock was first in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 22.07 and first in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 4:49.85.

His 500 time set a new school record, noted coach Amy Caudill.

The boys took sixth overall, while the girls were eighth.

Zayne Friar was third in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:00.08. The boys medley relay took fourth place with a time of 1:58.33 and the 400 freestyle relay took fourth with a 3:57.31.

The team hosts a meet at the Wave this Saturday in Whitefish. Races begin at noon.
