Wildcat swimmers do well in Havre
The Columbia Falls swim teams did well at the Havre Invitational Saturday, the last meet before the state meet in Great Falls this Friday and Saturday.
The boys took second and the girls were fourth.
Colton Babcock won the 100 breaststroke (1:09.15) and 200 individual medley (2:19.01). Zayne Friar won the 100 butterfly in 1:04.52 and the team won the 200 freestyle relay in 1:56.15.
Other notable performances included a fourth place finish by Sage Wanner in the 50 free and a second in the 500 free. Sam Pierce was second in the 100 free and Kaleb Bagley was third in the 200 intermediate medley. The team also took third in the 400 free relay.
On the girls side, Maddy Stoddard was third in the 200 intermediate medley and Hannah Callendar was third in the 500 freestyle.
