Man dies of natural causes while on snowshoe tour in Glacier

A 64-year-old Miami, Florida man apparently died of natural causes while on a snowshoe tour in Glacier National Park Dec. 26.

The man was on a guided snowshoe tour on the Fish Creek Road when he collapsed. The guide called 911 and started CPR. Park rangers, the ALERT helicopter and Three Rivers ambulance responded to the scene, but efforts to resuscitate the man were unsuccessful.

The man was visiting the Park with family members. His name was not released.
