Dispatch heard screaming on the line — an infant got a hold of a phone and didn’t want to give it up.

Dec. 20

Report of a male running down the street with a knife making suicide threats. Police stopped male that was jogging — he was just out of a run for wrestling. Swapping cars — and titles — wasn’t working out for a party. Lots of badmouthing. Abandoned vehicle at Town Pump. Report of truck with no taillights driving down Highway 40.

A repo man was trying to take two semis from a Trumble Creek Road location, but was worried about threats on his life. Report of a wife’s Facebook page being hacked. Now she was receiving threats.

Dec. 22

A male wanted his ex-girlfriend removed from his Martha Road apartment after a disturbance. She left, but now was back, pounding on the door. A woman wanted a city snow plow driver arrested for being “malicious.” Report of a person possibly taking $7,500 from a man’s credit union account. The man was cognitively disabled.

Dec. 23

A man was threatening suicide. Someone stole about $300 from a grocery store and then fled. The mirror of the rig hit the store manager as they fled in their car. He declined medical treatment. Another suicide threat was reported. Report of a dog left in a car.

Dec. 24

Store manager called to say he had a Christmas meal ready for a police officer when he was ready. Report of a water leak at Western Building Center. Report of someone breaking the windshield on a car.

Dec. 25

Officer left a Breathalyzer at a home after an arrest. He came back and picked it up. Report of a male prone in the street at the corner of Fourth and Ninth.
