Someone called to complain about damage to a windshield — possibly from BB pellets. A person complained that a neighbor let their dogs run around all day long unattended.

Nov. 29

Someone rifled through a backpack that was left in an unlocked car and threw the contents everywhere. A woman threatened to commit suicide on Nucleus Avenue, but when police talked to her during a traffic stop, she seemed OK.

Nov. 30

Report of a dog hit in the road near the new Whitefish Credit Union. The owner of the dog was taking care of it. Report of a child-on-child sexual assault. A report of one student stealing another student’s coat right off her back at the high school. A woman called to say her daughter was just released from jail, is a meth user and pregnant. She was worried about the unborn child’s health. Report of a scam on Craigslist over a car purchase. Caller said the alleged seller had called him and was threating and swearing at him. Report of a suicidal female who was drinking and taken pills and was feeling sick. She was transported to the hospital by a private party.

Dec. 1

A woman called to say her daughter was breaking a court order and she wanted her arrested. Suspicious vehicle on Fourth Avenue East North. Report of fireworks on Fourth Avenue West. Report of possible sexual abuse to a 1-year-old. Roommates were fighting on Diane Road. Cops told them to stay in separate rooms, since neither was willing to leave. Report of a fight at Pizza Hut. No one wanted to press charges. Report of a fist fight at a bar. Police helped Border Patrol with an arrest.

Dec. 2

Someone reported losing their phone at the parade. Report of possible sexual abuse of female, could have happened in Evergreen. A female was screaming at a male in a Cadillac. Male was “taking it.” Report of noisy pot smokers on Seventh Street West.

Dec. 3

Report of a possible burglary on Fourth Avenue East, but nothing was missing. Report of a daughter throwing a table in an 85-year-old person’s home.

Dec. 4

Report of someone sleeping in the bushes off Meadow Lake Boulevard. They were long gone, but their stuff was still frozen to the ground. Someone called to complain that they thought their sister-in-law was tampering with their mail — in Whitefish.
