Plows chugging along on Sun Road
Cyclists head down the Sun Road Sunday.
Glacier Park plow crews have made it 2.5 miles past the Loop on the west side and are at the Wild Goose Island Overlook on the east side of the Going-to-the-Sun Road.
The Camas Road and a portion of the Two Medicine Road are now open.
The Two Medicine Road is open to Running Eagle Falls. The Sun Road is closed at Lake McDonald Lodge on the west side and at the 1.5 mile gate on the east side.
The east side has no hiker-biker restrictions. The west side has hiker-biker access to the Logan Pit while crews are working, though there are no restrictions when they aren’t plowing — generally weekends and later in the day on weekdays.
The hiker-biker closure in Many Glacier is at the T intersection due to construction on the Many Glacier Hotel.
