Students ages 15-17 are encouraged to apply for the Glacier Youth Corps program this summer. The program provides a hands-on conservation opportunity in Glacier National Park. Participants will live and learn in the park while performing duties like fencing, trail maintenance, habitat restoration and revegetation.

The program consists of two sessions, each lasting four weeks. The first session takes place from June 12 to July 7, and the second session runs from July 17 to August 11. In addition to learning conservation skills and building their resumes, participants will receive a $200 service award from Montana Conservation Corps.

Visit the Montana Conservation Corps website at http://mtcorps.org/ to apply for the Glacier Youth Corps, or contact Carolan Coughlin at Carolan@mtcorps.org or 406-755-8089 for more information. Please indicate that you are interested in working specifically in the Glacier Youth Corps in Glacier National Park.
