Columbia Falls school year begins with optimism

| September 22, 2016 8:16 AM

On Sept. 6, Columbia Falls High opened its doors to students for the 2016-17 school year. Summer break is a time for reflection and rejuvenation, giving students and staff the energy to begin again. We begin this year with optimism, intending to build on the many successes of last year and also to honor who we are in Columbia Falls. Our community is long recognized for its strong work ethic, and this is also on display in the students and staff at CFHS.

It is our commitment at CFHS to stay connected to the community throughout this school year. We’ll keep you informed of the great things that take place in the hallways and classrooms at CFHS and of the wonderful accomplishments of our students. As principal, I intend to use this space to share stories of those who have demonstrated the core principles we have adopted at CFHS:

• Character is compassion.

• Focus on your future.

• Honor yourself and others.

• Strength to persevere.

Thank you for your support. Go Wildcats!
