Finberg signs with Great Falls

Columbia Falls senior setter Cydney Finberg has signed with the University of Great Falls on a scholarship to play volleyball next year. Finberg said she chose Great Falls after a couple of visits to the Catholic university, signing before the volleyball season started.

She said she has family in Great Falls and was impressed with the program.

“UGF felt right for me,” she said.

Finberg leads the Western A conference in assists this season and holds the school record in aces. She was both all-conference and all-state last year, helping lead the Wildkats to a state A championship. She is the daughter of Cary and Angie Finberg. She plans on studying education. She has a 4.17 grade point average and has had six academic all-state selections.
