A host of holiday school concerts on tap

Columbia Falls schools will be putting on Christmas concerts all during the month of December.

Columbia Falls High School will be hosting three separate events, beginning on Thursday, Dec. 8 with a concert by the symphonic and jazz bands, Tres Belles, Troubadors, and Cantilena Choir. The concert starts at 7 p.m. On Tuesday, Dec. 13, the high school wind ensemble, Columbians band and chorale, and the Sonifers will perform. This concert also begins at 7 p.m. There is a Jazz Cafe is Dec. 16 from 7 to 8:30 at the Little Theater.

Columbia Falls Junior High band will put on their concert on Tuesday, Dec. 6. Sixth grade begins at 6 p.m. and seventh and eighth grade starts at 7 p.m. The junior high choir concert is Thursday, Dec. 15. Sixth grade starts at 6:30 p.m. and seventh and eight grade is at 7:30 pm.

Glacier Gateway Elementary will have two concerts Friday, Dec. 16. First and second grades as well as third graders from Mrs Cox and Mrs. Jones’ classes will perform at 10:30 a.m. Concert for fourth and fifth grades, and third grade classes of Mr. Miller and Mrs. Myett is at 1:30 p.m. All Glacier Gateway concerts will be held in the high school’s little theater.

Ruder Elementary kindergarten and first grade will have a concert on Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 2 p.m. Fourth and fifth grades will perform Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 9 a.m., with second and third grade to follow at 10:15. These concerts will all take place in the gym at Ruder.
