Margaret A. Weydemeyer

Margaret A. Weydemeyer was born in Ogdensburg, New Jersey to Margaret and Albert Van Vliet. She passed peacefully in her sleep in her home in Columbia Falls on Oct. 21, 2016 after a long battle with brain cancer.

She is survived by her husband Bob Weydemeyer; her sons Al Mustagog and Tom Mustagog of Idaho; her granddaughter Christina Shields and great-grand daughter Rori; her adopted daughter Rhonda Hart; four remaining brothers, Rin and Paul of Florida; Rue of Alaska, and Gary of New York; her daughter-in-law Lisa and Lisa’s partner; and many friends who were family.

Margaret loved the outdoors, gardening, camping, fishing and just plain driving the back roads. She loved animals and was always around some sort of animal. She spent most of her early years here as a taxidermist. Her love of people was astonishing, grandma did not just have friends she had family.

She will forever greatly be missed by all those that knew her and were touched by her sweetness in general.

There will be a gathering in her honor this spring in Fortine, however the date is still to be determined. If you’re interested in attending please reach out to any of us and we will try to get to as many as we can to include you all.

In lieu of flowers etc. we ask that you take a moment to hug your loved ones. Take time to go for a walk in the woods for a moment and think of her.

Time waits for no one.
