I’ve seen a lot of good leaders come and go over the past two decades in both the Montana Legislature and in the U.S. Senate. Jesse Laslovich has always been at the top. Jesse hasn’t stopped working his tail off for our state since we served in the Montana Senate together, and he’ll serve our state responsibly as our next state auditor.

Jesse is a man of principle and an experienced consumer advocate. Over the past seven years while in the Auditor’s Office—and in the Attorney General’s Office before that—Jesse prosecuted the longest Ponzi scheme in Montana history and helped secure over $100 million in restitution for fraud victims. He wants more transparency in our health care system and has held insurance companies accountable to Montanans.

And he’s leading the fight against out of state air ambulance companies who are price gouging families in crisis.

Jesse’s family has deep roots in Montana, so he understands our values. He understands the importance of keeping public lands public and fighting attempts to transfer management of our public lands to states. That matters. Our next State Auditor is also a member of the Land Board, which votes on critical decisions about our public lands. Jesse understands the importance of working across party lines to get work done for our state. That matters too.

Sharla and I proudly support Jesse Laslovich and we encourage all Montanans to join us in voting for him to be our next auditor. Jesse never forgets who he works for: you.
