CFHS Academic Endowment was a success

| May 25, 2016 6:37 AM

To The Editor,

The Columbia Falls High School Academic Endowment Trustees wish to thank all those who made our annual spring Academic Arts Showcase at the Montana Veterans’ Home a  rousing success!   More than $12,000 was added to the Endowment in a fun-filled three-hour event.  To our many generous donors of art, adventure packages, community services, desserts and merchandise: Thank you for your support of educational enhancements at CFHS.  To The Nite Owl/Back Room and the Marquesen family, to Freedom Bank, and Glacier Bank, and our auctioneer Michael Robison, it just couldn’t happen without you.   Thank you, to our student assistants, and entertainers Chloe Foster and Ava Chisholm for showcasing the culture of academic excellence CFHS has fostered in you, and to which this endowment is dedicated.

To the attendees: you brought such enthusiasm and generosity and made the evening so enjoyable and alive; you manifest why this community is so rich in spirit and future. Thank you for supporting us.  Special recognition to Rachel Warner and SmartLam, for awesome donations of talent and creativity.

You all inspire us!  We’ll see you next spring for another fun event!

Trustees,  Vicki Wirkus, Rich Thompson, Erin Quintia, Mindy Lorens, George Scherman, Tara Norick, Scott Gaiser, Denise Falkner, Alyson Dorr, Josh Forke, and Bill Dakin.
