C-Falls musicians get top ratings

Columbia Falls High School students performed well at the State Solo and Ensemble Festival in Helena recently. The students were judged on a scale from “superior,” “excellent,” “good,” “fair” to “poor.”

The following are the results:

Isabella Rose - flute solo, superior 

Hannah Brooks - vocal solo, superior

Jonah Smith - French horn solo, excellent

Ava Chisholm, Madeline Jarvis, Mikel Knutson, Ali Gould - oboe/bassoon quartet, excellent

Madeline Jarvis - piano solo, superior

Kelly Vigil - flute solo, superior
