The Board of Directors for the Columbia Falls summer swim team has announced that Amy Caudill has been selected to be the new head coach for the squad.

Originally from upstate New York, Amy has lived in Montana for several years.  She is a teacher at Glacier Gateway in Columbia Falls and most recently served as the assistant coach under head coach Mike Nelson for both the Whitefish and Columbia Falls High School swim teams.

“We are thrilled to have Amy as our new head coach” said Krystal Gladeau, president of the Board of Directors for the team. “Amy came highly recommended by our previous head coach from last year, Mike Nelson, and we feel fortunate to have found someone with her talents to coach our swimmers during our summer league competition.”

Columbia Falls Swim Team is a member of the Montana Federation of Swimmers and is the only organized swim team in the Flathead Valley during the summer months.  The team consists of swimmers from age 5 – 18 years of age and competes in weekend swim meets from June through early August including a western divisional swim meet and a state swim meet.  Anyone interested in joining the summer swim team, please contact Caudill at 406-580-4111 or board president, Krystal Gladeau at 406-272-6195 and/or at cfstboard@gmail.com. The swim team’s website is www.cfswim.org. All children from around the Flathead Valley are welcome to join
