"Groovin’ on a Sunday Afternoon” is back on Sunday, March 6, featuring local bluesman Andre Floyd. Doors open at 2 p.m. and music begins at 2:30 p.m.

“Groovin’ on a Sunday Afternoon” is an intimate musical experience with the valley’s best musicians at the beautiful lobby at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts. It’s a chance for the community to socialize with friends and listen to great music.

A different nonprofit beneficiary receives a percentage of proceeds at each show. Beneficiaries for the March 6 show are Child Bridge and Groove Trail.

Andre Floyd is an original blues artist. With three original albums to his credit, his latest release, “Project 2o12,” shows his versatility as a blues artist with 10 new originals and some unique remakes from artists such as Van Morrison.

Collaborators and sponsors for the series include Bigfork Inn, Bridge Street Cottages, Empress Tents and Events, Frame of Reference, Great Northern Gourmet, Dr. and Mrs. Tom Jenko, Kalvig Law Firm, Kettle Care Organics, National Parks Realty, Rocky Mountain Wine Company, and Tall Pine Lounge.

Partners for all “Groovin’ on a Sunday Afternoon” shows include 406 Woman Magazine, Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts, Flathead Community Foundation, and Northwest Artist Syndicate.
