Learn why Columbia Falls rocks

| June 15, 2016 9:24 AM

Friday night June 17, The Coop will be hosting the biggest rock concert Columbia Falls has ever seen.  For the first time in their history, K’Niption Fit and Comatose Posse will be playing the same night at the same venue!  Two of western Montana’s biggest names in the Rock business take the stage to celebrate why C-Falls Rocks!

Why throw a concert?  Why does C-Falls rock? The past couple years we have seen tremendous triumphs in our growth of commerce and community spirit. Really, there is truly so very much to celebrate. Not only is school out for summer, but the highly anticipated Cedar Creek Lodge opens the next week.  What a perfect time to take all these chapters in our history and write one of our own. The venue opens up at 6 p.m.  Food and Beer available for purchase.  K’Niption Fit will open us up at 7 p.m. with a show-stopping performance of 70s, 80s, and 90s rock that gets people hoppin’. They promise to play to the people, not the concert. By far, they are one of the most coveted bands in Montana.

During intermission between bands, we will have our very own mayor of Columbia Falls, Don Barnhart up on stage talking about all the exciting developments in city government and community alike. Mark Johnson, president of the Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce will speak to the sensational happenings for our local businesses/new businesses. Zac Perry, our House District 3 representative, will titillate our eardrums with the good news about Columbia Falls and The Canyon on the state level. Finally, Mick Ruis will take The Coop stage to talk about the spine-tingling developments he has planned for our beloved Nucleus Ave that holds the heritage of our downtown along its weathered shoulders.

After those delicious community updates, the crowd will be whipped into a frenzy at 9:30 p.m. as one of the most sought after bands west of the Flathead River, Comatose Posse, lays down some high energy rock and passion driven songs that dares an audience not to sing along! We promise to crack midnight on this one folks!

This is a 21 and older event with a $5 cover charge.
