Can you travel to Missoula on Feb. 1 to protest refugees?
Hello, Flathead Valley and good day to you. Let me ask you a question:
When you look at the beautiful state of Montana, which is only one of two states in the union left that does not have refugees from the Middle East, particularly Syria, in it, would you like to see a refugee resettlement area in Missoula?
That is just what is being proposed. Soft Landing, a local Missoula group that was formed recently, is working to bring the International Rescue Committee, a U.N. organization, to Missoula, with the idea of bringing in up to 100 refugees a year. This may sound like a kind and progressive thing — to help poor refugees — but in reality, we end up with refugees that are full of hate for America and the American way of life, and there will be some who what to kill us.
Look at Europe. In Cologne, Germany, and elsewhere, over 500 women were subjected to harassment and rape on New Year’s Eve during public celebrations. Europe is in real trouble, the governments are weak and have no leaders and no plan to deal with it.
The refugees come to Germany and get housing, food, health care, have no jobs and spend their days terrorizing the German citizens. Radical Islam is real and the jihadis want us dead. With virtually minimal background checks hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees are finding their way to America, with the help of the Obama administration.
Yep, the International Rescue Committee and Soft Landing want to bring 100 refugees a year to settle in Missoula. The problem is, once this program gets set up, and the flow of refugees starts to come in, the UN will dictate who and how many will be sent to Missoula and the local government will have no control over it. Once the flow starts, it’s virtually impossible to shut the flow off.
So, if you have a problem with this as I do, come to a rally in Missoula on Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. at the Missoula County Courthouse so that we can tell our government leaders that we DO NOT want refugees in Montana! This is going to be difficult to stop, and we MUST turn out in numbers to show that we are paying attention and do not want refugees in Montana. The rally is being promoted by the Montana Conservative Values Facebook page.
Feb. 1 is also the Iowa caucus day, so bring your Trump signs and your “Just Say NO to Refugees in Montana” signs and join me and others who care deeply about the safety of Montanans! Take a stand and let your voice be heard. If you don’t do it, no one will. It’s up to us. —Susan Taylor, Bigfork
