BOYS BASKETBALL: Potkonjak, Vikings shoot past Wildcats

COLUMBIA FALLS — Bigfork senior Joseph Potkonjak made a school record eight second-half 3-pointers to lead the Vikings to an 87-75 nonconference victory at Columbia Falls on Thursday.

Potkonjak, who was scoreless in the first half, finished with a game-high 24 points, with his shooting barrage helping Bigfork run away from a tight game.

Nathan Riley scored 18 points to lead the hot-shooting Wildcats, who also got 12 points from both Tyler Murphy and Dakota Bridwell. Austin Green had 11 points for Columbia Falls.
