Elisabeth Miket Phillips

Elisabeth Miket Phillips passed away on Nov. 27, 2016 after an eight-year battle with cancer. She was born June 15, 1954 in Paris, France to Werner Miket and Elisabeth Biere Miket. She died at home in Weymouth, Nova Scotia, Canada.

She had an early career in human resources with an international company in Montreal prior to her marriage and relocation to the U.S. She was co-founder of the original “5 Ojo Inn” in Eureka Springs, Arkansas and “River Rose Inn” in Elizabethtown, Illinois. She was a gifted linguist, fluent in French, German and English and socially skilled in Spanish. She became an avid gardener in later life and always had little four-legged friends to share her day with. She is predeceased by her parents.

She is survived by her husband C. Don Phillips of Weymouth, Nova Scotia, her daughter Monica Phillips Graff of Polebridge and sister Gitti Kalkuhl of Redwood City, California. No services are planned at this time. Please support cancer research.
