Thanks for making festival possible
Dear Columbia Falls,
Thank you for your gracious support of the Deadication Festival which took place at Marantette Park on Aug. 27. The Columbia Falls Area Chamber worked to bring our town its first all-day music festival in recent memory, and we were rewarded with a park filled with people from across the Flathead Valley — music lovers and families who discovered what a jewel we have in the Don Lawrence band shell and our beautiful park.
Specific “thanks” go to the City of Columbia Falls, from the City Manager to Public Works to the Police Department, together we made this event possible with a positive “can do” attitude. To the Board of Directors for the Chamber, who made this event possible with your volunteer hours and your confidence that we can be successful in trying new things. And to Emily Clark and Make It Groovy Productions, your willingness to take a chance on a new venue, your incredible attention to detail and the impressive line up of musical talent made the Deadication Festival unique and celebratory for all of us.
So thank you all, for supporting the event and for spreading the word – Columbia Falls is where it’s at!
