Three individuals walked away from a rollover accident involving two vehicles Thursday morning on Highway 206 in Columbia Falls.

According to witnesses, a small Toyota carrying a 38-year-old man and 13-year-old boy rolled three of four times after bumping a woman driving a jeep Cherokee. One witness said the smaller car had been driving erratically, swerving and speeding.

“I was just trying to stay on the road and not flip over myself,” said the female driver, who preferred to remain unnamed.

The first on scene was Bob Bacon, 35, of Columbia Falls.

“We heard the crash. I told my wife to call 911 and I got dressed and ran out. By the time I got over here they were out walking around,” Bacon said of the two males in the rolled car.

The two males were both stable and were transported to the hospital via ambulance. The female in the second vehicle was also stable and awaiting a ride home.

Montana Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
