| September 29, 2015 9:39 AM

Sage Wanner of Columbia Falls won the cross-country Polson Duals last week. Wanner clocked a 17:01 on the tough course at the Sept. 26 event.

The Polson race is a different sort of event, where the girls start before the boys in intervals and then the boys have to catch the field, so everyone eventually runs all at once.

Glenn Morden was fifth overall with a 18:58, Gabe Knudsen was 11th with a 19:44. On the girls' side, Genevieve DeLorme was fifth with a 22:48 and the rest of the team took 7th through 10th respectively, with Raina Crowell with a 23:12, Lacey Johns with 23:47, Raychel Hoerner with 23:53 and Haylie Peacock with 24:01.

The team races at Thompson Falls this Thursday.
