The Columbia Falls volleyball team rolled over its last two home opponents Saturday, dropping Stevensville 25-14, 25-16, 25-9 and Libby 25-8, 25-16, 21-25, 25-9.

The Kats racked up 34 kills against the Yellowjackets and had a whopping 51 against the Lady Loggers.

Morgan Stenger had 14 against Stevi, while KJ Schweikert had 11 against Libby.

Cydney Finberg tallied all of the team’s 31 assists against Stevi and 38 of the 41 against Libby, as she sets up the offense.

The Kats finish the regular season on the road with a match against Polson Thursday and against Whitefish Saturday. Coach Jessy Matthews likes the girls’ progress.

“I was really pleased with our aggressive serving and our hitting percentages in both games,” she said. “Serving is something we work on a lot during each week and we are getting to a point where we’re really using it as a weapon and not just as a means to initiate play.”
