Triplett takes fourth at Rumble in Rockies

Matt Triplett is back in the money. The No. 2 bull rider in the world broke out of a recent slump, going 4-for-4 on the at the Professional Bull Riders Rumble in the Rockies event in Colorado Springs, Colo. on May 1-3.

He also took second in the 15/15 Bucking Battle on Saturday. Triplett placed fourth overall in the event with 165 points, and he also earned an additional 82.5 points in the 15/15 Bucking Battle.  

Triplett had been 0-for-7 since returning to the Built Ford Tough Series in Billings two weeks ago. He earned $9,600 on the weekend.

Triplett is coming off a knee injury he suffered earlier this season. He has $155,394.34 in earnings this year, second behind world champion Joao Ricardo Vieira, who has $304,250 in earnings.
