Twins go 4-0 on week

The Glacier Twins went 4-0 on the week. On June 16 they downed the Mission Valley Mariners 5-3 and 10-2 in a doubleheader and then they took a pair from the Cranbrook Bandits Saturday, winning the opener 6-1 and the nightcap, 8-4 in American Legion baseball.

Austin Robins got the win on the mound in the opener against Cranbrook, striking out 10 over six innings. Jesse Walburn got the win in nightcap, allowing just four hits.

Jesse Walburn had a double and Kyler Howke, Vinny Smith and Jesse Walburn all had RBIs.

In the opener, Jayce Fagerland had a double.

Against Mission, AJ Westsch got the win in the opener. A full box score for the second game was unavailable. Colten Parker went 2 for 4 from the plate in the victory in the first game.

The Twins are now 20-9 and head into the Ed Gallo tournament at home this Thursday.
