A caller asked Columbia Falls police if someone under 18 years old could possess and use e-cigarettes. The answer was yes until Jan. 1, 2016 when a new law would go into effect.

June 3

Report of a small car stolen on Brunner Rd. outside Columbia Falls.

A utility company employee reported checking on a delinquent account at a home on Highway 206 near Columbia Falls and hearing the resident threaten to "murder" him if he stepped on the property.

Police responded to a report of a man leaving a restaurant on the U.S. 2 strip in Columbia Falls without paying.

June 4

Stalks and leaves from marijuana plants were reportedly found near the green box site in Coram.

June 5

9:45 p.m. Scott Finfrock, 52, was stopped on the North Fork Road after a report of a reckless driver on U.S. Highway 2. Police pursued him and he was charged with felony DUI No. 4.

June 6

5:18 p.m. Police took a report of a female who allegedly tried to steal a cart of groceries from Smith's Food and Drugs.

Police recovered items that were stolen from Bonnie's Reflexology on Nucleus Avenue. They were located in an empty house next door. The perpetrators cut the screen and put them through the window. The robbery is still under investigation.
