Registration for Columbia Falls Youth Softball for 2015 has begun. Sign-up forms can be found in the school offices or online at www.wildkatsoftball.org. Players can also register at the Columbia Falls Fire Department on Tuesdays, Feb. 10 and March 10, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Sign-ups for the winter pitching clinic has also begun. This year’s clinics will be coached by Ashley Trueblood, the Columbia Falls High School varsity softball pitcher. The clinics will be held at the Columbia Falls Junior High School gym on Mondays, Feb. 2, 9 and 23, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Pitchers must be accompanied by an adult to catch for them. Total cost is $25.

Clinics for all 2015 softball coaches will be offered by the Columbia Falls Youth Softball Association in partnership with Dave Kehr, the high school softball coach. The hour-long clinics will be held on March 17, 19, 23 and 24 and will help coaches teach the skills needed for softball play.

For more information on Columbia Falls Youth Softball or to sign up, contact Kathy Price at 253-3775.

The University of Montana Grizzlies will offer a softball all-skill hitting and pitching clinic on Sunday, Jan. 18, at the Adams Center in Missoula for grades 3-8. For more information or to sign up, visit online at www.grizsoftballcamps.com.
