Bigfork swimmers keep knocking down times
The Bigfork High School girls swim team placed eighth at the Kalispell Invitational swim meet on Saturday at the Summit.
The team scored 21 points overall to finish ahead of Columbia Falls.
“The girls are showing definite improvement overall and we working to increase their speeds to beat last year’s records,” head coach Charlotte Ball said.
Catelynn Henion shaved the most time off her past races, knocking off about three seconds in the 50-meter freestyle and seven seconds in the 100-meter freestyle.
Gabriella DiPaulo knocked over two seconds off her 100-meter freestyle and Jessica Young took 0.52 seconds off her 100-meter backstroke.
The girls travel to Great Falls on Saturday.
