High school reunion a success

Recently, another class reunion was held on the sore of Swan Lake for students who attended Bigfork High School in the 1950s. More than 140 people attended the very successfully planned, organized and executed event.

Often times, attendees take the event for granted, we pay our fee and enjoy the camaraderie generated from meeting and seeing classmates from more than 50 years ago.

This successful event needs special commendations to many people, especially the ones who hosted, planned and organized the reunion.

Pat Luckow and her family generously offered their land at the head of Swan Lake. The area was mowed, parking planned and well signed.

Carol and Ron Pierce, along with individual class volunteers, planned, contacted classmates, collected funds and answered many questions. They made sure the reunion was a total success. We, and many others appreciate the generous offer of land and work these people provided.
