Valkyries sweep relays at Seeley-Swan Invite
The Bigfork girls finished second and the boys fourth at the Seeley-Swan Invitational at Missoula County Stadium on Saturday.
Plains won the meet for the girls with 108.5. The Valkyries scored 75.5
Bigfork freshman Bryn Morley won the 800 and the Valkyries swept the relays.
Freshman Hallie Norred placed second in the 100, and third in the 200.
In the 300 hurdles, Mattie McAnnally took third in and Marissa Hiza, fifth.
Hiza was also fifth in the high jump, and McAnnally second in pole vault. Gabby Eaton was fourth and Megan Pancoast sixth in pole vault. Eaton was sixth in the triple jump.
Riley Coleman was sixth in shot put and discus. Miranda Campbell was third in discus. For the Vikings, Logan Morley won the 3,200. Tyler Iverson won the discus and was fifth in shot put.
Josh Sandry was sixth in the 100, fifth in the 200 and second in the high jump.
Marquis Venegas was fourth in the high jump and Tyler Piazzola was fifth in the triple jump. Bigfork competed in the Top Ten meet in Missoula on Tuesday. Thursday they will travel to Kalispell for the Glacier Time Trials, and on Saturday they will compete at the Whitefish ARM.
