Peter Venerdi Jr.

Peter E, Venerdi, 70, died on St. Patrick's Day March 17, 2015, after a two-year, hard fought battle with brain cancer, .

Peter was born May 18,1944, in San Francisco to Marguerite Dwyer and Peter E. Venerdi Sr. He lived in California until the fifth grade, when he moved to Bellevue, Washington.

He graduated from Bellevue High School in 1962 and attended Skagit Valley Junior College, Central Washington State and the University of Puget Sound. He served his country for three years in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1969.

He met Gloria Funk in junior high school and they were married in 1966. They were married 48 years and had three children and eight grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Peter was an executive and troubleshooter in the residential window and door industry.

He loved baseball, coaching Little League, the 49ers and golf. Peter coached Little League for 25 years. Peter was a lifelong Catholic and was a devoted member of St. Richard's Catholic Church in Columbia Falls.

Peter is survived by his wife, Gloria; and his children, Peter “Bo” Venerdi III,of Amelia Island, Fla., Stacylyn Zuniga, of Fresno, Calif., and Wade Venerdi, of Plantation, Fla.; and his sisters Roberta Davis, of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Christine Beswick, of Texas.

Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Richard's Catholic Church in Columbia Falls on Friday, April 17, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
