Tamara Larsen

Tamara Marie (Lamoreaux) Larsen, 40, of Columbia Falls, died Sept. 8, 2014.

She was born Jan. 9, 1974, in Whitefish to Vicki and Ron Lamoreaux. Tamara attended schools in Columbia Falls and Bozeman and graduated from Flathead High School in 1992. She attended Montana State University and Flathead Valley Community College.

Tamara worked at various businesses, convenience stores and drove long-haul trucks. At the time of her death, she was working at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake.

She married Matthew Larsen and together welcomed Samantha Ann into the world on May 13, 2007.

Tamara is survived by her daughter, Samantha, who resides with her father Matthew and grandmother Rayna, of Columbia Falls; her father Ron, of Echo Lake; her brother Jeff and his wife Aimee, of Kalispell, and their children Brittney and fiance Bryant of Kalispell, Shawn and fiancee Mileah and their son Carter of Kalispell, daughter Seonna of Kalispell, daughter McKenzie of Kalispell, and son Colton of Kalispell; her “second mother,” Karen Kessinger, of Columbia Falls; her uncles Gary, of Columbia Falls, Brian and his wife Darlene  of Columbia Falls and Jan of Missoula, and Bud Lamoreaux and wife Elaine, of San Angelo, Texas; aunts Jolayne Tuttle and husband Graham, of High River, Alberta, and Mickey Perry and husband John, of Columbia Falls; and numerous cousins and their children.

Visitation will be held at the Columbia Falls United Methodist Church on Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. and burial to follow at St. Richard’s Cemetery.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the charity of choice.
