Rodney Green

Rodney DeWayne “Rod” Green, 48, passed away at his home in Cartersville, Ga., on Sept. 1, 2014.

He was born on Oct. 23, 1965, in Kalispell to Sharron Frach-Green and Larry Green. Rod grew up in Kalispell and attended Flathead and Laser schools.

He owned a drywall businesses and was a firefighter, avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors.

He moved to Missoula and joined a trucking company. He was married to the love of his life, Cristyl Clause Green.

He was preceded in death by his father Larry Green and grandparents Bob and Mildred Frach and Gordon and Thelma Green.

He is survived by his mother Sharron Frach Hawk; siblings Roxie Green Erdman and husband Glenn, and their sons Ryan and Kyle Erdman, Nikki Hawk and children Tayzha, Caden, Gracie and Faith, Shawna Hawk of Kalispell, and Lacey Green Fields and Lynsey Green of Columbia Falls; and wife Cristyl Clause Green and her children Berllynn Houle, Andy Ott and daughter Chevia Weber, Tia Davis and husband Aaron and their children Kandis and Jayden.

A potluck memorial service will be held at 314 Days Acre Lane, in Kalispell on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014, at 3 p.m.

A donation fund has been set up to bring Rod’s remains home at First Interstate Bank under Tia Clause or by mailing to Cristyl Green, c/o Karin Sagen, P.O. Box 5148, Whitefish MT 59937.
