Lee Henry Eslick

Lee Henry Eslick, 52, passed away Oct. 19 at his home in Bigfork.  

He was born Feb. 2, 1962, in Kalispell, to Joe and Florence Eslick, becoming the youngest of their three children.

Lee grew up in Bigfork, attending Bigfork Elementary and Bigfork High School. After graduation, he moved to Dillon where he went to college and received degrees in Hotel Management and Elementary Education. As he grew up he worked at many jobs around Bigfork, including Charlie’s Pizza Parlor, Del’s Drive Inn, The Bigfork Inn and the Garden Bar. He spent many days as a substitute teacher at Bigfork and Swan River schools. He taught school in Condon for several years where he enjoyed his students and the community. After leaving Condon, he became a partner with his sister in the Kalispell Antiques Market.

Lee loved to travel and shop for store merchandise. He was an excellent cook and shared his hobby with many friends. He liked walking the Nature Trail with his adored companions, Ruger and Holly.

He is survived by his father; Joe Eslick; one sister, JoAnn Eslick, both of Bigfork;  one brother, Jay Eslick, and wife Barbara, of Chinook; his nieces and nephews; Brittney and husband, Justin, of Olympia, Wash; Jayson, and wife, Katelynne of Glendive; Andrea and Brad of Missoula, and Erin and husband, Michael, of Havre, and 11 great nieces and nephews; also cousins; Marla Britton and Maureena Mueller and many more spanning three generations; and one stepbrother, Mick Hagestad and wife, Patty, and their families.

Memorial services for Lee will be Oct. 23 at 11 a.m. at Johnson Gloschat Funeral Home in Kalispell. 

There will be a Celebration of Life following the service at the Bigfork Inn, at 1 p.m.
