Not so NRA, John Lewis

| October 15, 2014 12:49 PM

John Lewis recently released a commercial stating that he has an A rating from the National Rifle Association. Once again, what he has failed to say is that he has an A rating from a questionnaire. A questionnaire that he lied on. A questionnaire that if asked, “Did you campaign with Rep. Steny Hoyer, a Representative from Maryland with a 0 percent NRA rating,” what would he say? Or did you take money from the gun-hating Super PAC that former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg started? What would John Lewis’ answer be?

I can help you with that. He did have a fundraiser with Rep. Steny Hoyer, who advised John Lewis to not campaign on guns because that would go against the Democratic ticket. He isn’t honest enough to come out and say he accepted $5,000 from Mayor Bloomberg’s super PAC. So can you trust John Lewis with having Montana’s best interests? Absolutely not. John Lewis can’t even answer simple questions at debates — the debates he declared are job interviews. John Lewis is not the right candidate for Montana.

Ryan Zinke is. Ryan Zinke has an A rating from the NRA, and that’s not from taking the questionnaire. Ryan Zinke is a lifetime NRA member and will protect the Second Amendment from people like John Lewis and his best bud, Rep. Steny Hoyer, and Rep. Nancy Pelosi.

As Barack Obama has stated, “Make no mistake, my policies are on the ballot this November fourth.”  The choice is clear, and Ryan Zinke is the man that Montanans need to vote for this election.
