Rescue group

On behalf of the Kaawa’pomaakaa Society, the animal rescue group in Browning, I’d like to sincerely thank the All Saints Episcopal Church in Whitefish for their second generous donation.

They contributed more than $1,100 from their golf tournament to help the dogs on the reservation. In just six months, generous Flathead animal lovers have donated $6,000. We’ve also sent more than 5,000 pounds of dog food to Browning to feed the homeless dogs.

We are having a big fundraiser at the Lodge on Whitefish Lake on Friday, May 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. Jack Gladstone will be our celebrity bartender, and we have some fabulous items to auction off. We have a kayak, lodging and meals on the east side, whitewater raft trips and much more. Please join us and help the reservation doggies.
