Gary Bocksnick

Gary Lee Bocksnick, 71, passed away March 6, 2014, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center from pulmonary fibrosis.

He was born March 31, 1942, in Polson to Herb and Edna Bocksnick. He was raised in the Pablo and Ronan area and graduated from Ronan High school in 1960. The highlight of his high school years was being a member of the Ronan High School State Championship basketball team his senior year.

Survivors include his wife Melanie; children JP, Mike Bocksnick, Kathy Schwartz and Lori Black; six grandchildren; brother Randy Bocksnick and wife Barbara, of Columbia Falls; sister Rhonda Emerson and husband Jerry; stepmother Dorothy Bocksnick; stepsisters Mindy, Bev and Sandy; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

No formal services will be held, but a celebration of life gathering for family and friends will be held at the home of Bev and Dan Luedtke, 34951 Creekside Lane, in Ronan on Wednesday, March 12, at 1:30 p.m.
