Canyon trail

Thanks to everyone who made the Gateway to Glacier Trails “Fall in Love with Soup” night a success. Montana Coffee Traders generously donated their Columbia Falls facility to host the event.

Many people donated delicious homemade soups, and local artist Colt Idol was there to present his “Discover Freedom” giclee print which is being sold to promote the trail.

The community turned out for the evening, and besides having good soup, we raised funds for the Gateway to Glacier Trail.

Our next event is March 21 at The Belton Chalet. “Story Slam” is similar to a poetry slam, but with stories. Master storytellers from across the valley will share short stories. There will also be an open mic portion where willing parties can take the mic and share their stories in 4-5 minute tales.

Thanks again to everyone who participated in “Fall in Love with Soup,” and we look forward to seeing you at The Belton.
