Obamacare lies

| March 3, 2014 8:54 AM

I wondered how long it would be before someone started screaming about the lies that the Republicans and specifically Steve Daines are saying about Obamacare (the “Unaffordable Health-care Fiasco”). Didn’t take very long, as Larry Norstedt’s recent letter in the Daily Inter Lake proves.

It was just a month or so ago that the repeated phrases of “if you like your doctor you can keep him,” and “if you like your health care provider you can keep it,” were labeled the “lie of the year” by the largest newspaper in the U.S. and many major news networks. Did Steve Daines or any other Republican or conservative repeat that phrase in front of millions of people over and over just to get the bill to pass?

No sir, that was the president of the United States, a Democrat. That same president has changed the bill 27 times without congressional approval because it’s such a train wreck.

Larry, I don’t know about you but I’m a hard-working American, and since this president has been sitting on his throne, my co-pay for all of my diabetic medicine has tripled. Where’s my savings of more than $2,500 a year? Oh yes, another lie by the president.

Thank you, Steve Daines, for not voting for the most unaffordable health-care fiasco in history. I hope everyone that voted for Obamacare is kicked out on their tails the next time they run. Most Democrats running this year are well aware of who they can’t trust, and it’s their own president and  his health care takeover.
