Bigfork high school hires new basketball coach

Bigfork High School Tuesday announced the selection of the new head basketball coach and activities director.

Sam Tudor, a Bigfork High School sophomore English teacher, will coach the varsity boys basketball team, and David Creamer will serve as activities director for the middle school and high school.

Creamer and Tudor will fill the vacancies left by Josh Downey, who has accepted a position as head varsity boys basketball coach in Whitefish.

Tudor has coached prep athletics for 14 years throughout Montana. At Bigfork he has been the head coach for middle school football and junior varsity boys basketball. He served as assistant varsity boys basketball coach under Kurt Paulson, who proceeded Downey.

Creamer is currently the Development Manager for Intermountain, a non-profit organization, in Kalispell. He has participated in Bigfork athletics as an assistant coach for the high school track team, volunteering for the basketball and football teams and has spearheaded the high school sports social networking efforts. He is a 1995 graduated of Bigfork High School and a 2001 graduate of Montana State University.
