Nurses say thanks

| June 10, 2014 11:20 AM

Thank you to School District 6 administrators, staff, teachers, para-educators and students. You fill our days with hope and joy, and keep us very busy.

It is true — it takes a “village to raise a child.” Thank you to our village community that supports and nurtures students: Whitefish Credit Union, New West Medicare, Columbia Falls Food Bank, Klothes Kloset, Garden of Eden Thrift, Methodist Women, Lutheran Youth, Hoo Hoo Ladies, Just Cutting Up, Lions Club and Kiwanis, to name a few.

We are grateful for parents, guardians and all family members who are a solid foundation for students’ health and happiness. It is very rewarding to be a part of this remarkable village and to watch children grow and become young adults and treasured community members.

Last and definitely not least, thank you Dr. Mike Nicosia. Thank you for your years of commitment and dedication to students, for always putting children first and keeping our collective focus on today’s youth.

Thank you for helping us to watch for children who are silent and stoic, struggling and in pain, as vigilantly and with as much regard as we applaud the many accomplishments of youth achieving great things in the limelight. We will miss you.
