Farmers market

Duo Deluxe will be the featured band at the Columbia Falls Farmers Market, held at Pinewood Park next to the City Pool on Thursday, June 12, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The Thursday markets host local vendors offering fresh produce, baked items, crafts, arts and various eats and treats. The market will return June 19 with music by the Montana Marimba Ensemble and on June 26 with music by Blue Smoke.

After hours

The Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce will host its after-hours social event at Freedom Bank, in Columbia Falls, on Thursday, June 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. with prize drawings, food, beer and wine.

History club

The Columbia Falls Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting in the Old Chapel Building at the Montana Veterans Home, in Columbia Falls, on Tuesday, June 17, at 7 p.m.

Seniors sale

Donations are needed for the North Valley Senior Center’s garage sale in June. The garage sale will take place at the center, 205 Nucleus Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, June 27, and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 28. For more information, contact Roxy at 892-4087.

FVCC meet

Flathead Valley Community College president Jane Karas will meet the public for a lunch time public forum at the Nite Owl in Columbia Falls on Friday, June 13, from noon to 1 p.m. Those planning on attending are asked to contact Monica Settles at 406-756-3801.

Senior picnic

The Flathead County Agency on Aging will hold its annual Older Americans Day Picnic at the county fairgrounds in Kalispell on Friday, June 27, with doors opening at 10 a.m. and hamburgers with the works lunch served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Western attire is encouraged to celebrate the spirit of the great American West. Bible school

The First Baptist Church of Columbia Falls will hold their annual Vacation Bible School from June 16-20 from 9 a.m. to noon for children age 4 to sixth grade. For more information, call 892-3729.
