Rhonda Yacenda

Rhonda Adriene (Burdick) Yacenda, 61, of Columbia Falls, passed away at Kalispell Regional Medical Center on Jan. 14, 2014.

She was born to Gordon and Beryl (Schmidt) Burdick in Colfax, Wash., Feb.7, 1952.

After graduating from high school in Kellogg, Idaho, she attended technical school in Minneapolis and lived in Minnesota for several years before returning to the Northwest.

After she moved to Montana, she considered it her home. Rhonda enjoyed fishing, her motorcycle and more recently her flower gardens and sharing her baking with friends and family. She was artistic and creative and passionate about the kind and ethical treatment of animals.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Beryl Burdick.

She is survived by her twin sister, Robin (Burdick) Main and nephew, Gabriel Moseley, both of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Donations may be made in her name to the Flathead County Animal Shelter in Kalispell.
